Thakeham Site Managers win NHBC Pride in the Job Quality Award
17th June 2016
Thakeham is delighted to employ two site managers who have received Quality Awards in NHBC Pride in the Job campaign this year. The awards are dedicated to recognising site managers who achieve the highest standards in house-building.
Parbrook Walk, Billingshurst was managed by Roger Bennett and Beaumont Gardens, Peacehaven by Barry Corrick. “I have personally spoken to both this morning and the first thing they said was that it was a team effort. On behalf of Thakeham, I want to say a sincere thanks to all of you for your effort and pride in the product and to Barry and Roger for strong and inspirational site management.” said Robert Boughton, MD, Thakeham.
It is a real achievement for our site managers to have been selected from around 16,000 UK site managers to win one of just 450 Quality Awards. Each site manager is assessed across areas including technical knowledge, consistency in the build process, leadership and organisational skills along with regular spot checks of the day to day running of the site. Only site managers who demonstrate exceptional standards in every aspect of their work on site and in the homes they build are considered for a Pride in the Job Award.
Parbrook Walk and Beaumont Gardens are the first Thakeham developments to showcase our own designs for both development and house types. We are immensely proud to be recognised by this industry acclaimed benchmark for two developments which demonstrate the commitment of our site managers and their teams, and for the quality of a Thakeham home.
Winning a Pride in the Job Award is a visible demonstration of our site manager’s and Thakeham’s overall commitment to high standards and we look forward to the next stage of the awards in October.
